– with Peder Karlsson & Avocalypse
Peder Karlsson is a singer, composer, arranger and guitarist who is perhaps best known as the founder and member of The Real Group 1984-2009.
However, Peder has also studied arranging and composition at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm under, among others, Ingvar Karkoff, Daniel Börtz and Bengt-Arne Wallin. Now you have an opportunity to learn from him during the Choir Festival.
During this workshop, you have the chance to be coached by Peder of The Real Group. The a cappella group Avocalypse from Umeå will sing catchy arrangements that you and the other participants will sing along with.
To facilitate note reading and learning, we will email sheet music and MIDI files to participants registered for this workshop. So you can take a look at your parts ahead of time and prepare accordingly. Peder will also work with special exercises for rhythm and timbre. You can be assured of a unique and inspiring workshop.
