If you need help with airline group bookings send your request to our travellingpartner Uniglobe Travel in Umeå, and they will send you an offer.
Group bookings can be made when a minimum of 10 passengers are travelling together on the same flight. Group rates are slightly higher than individual prices however, the rules offer more flexibility than individual tickets and you are also ensured to receive the same price for all passengers travelling together.
Taking the train to Umeå is convenient – and the station is located in the centre of the city. Flights are also quick and convenient from many cities, including Malmö, Gothenburg, Stockholm, Östersund and Luleå in Sweden and Vaasa in Finland. There is also a ferry from Vaasa.
Scandic Plaza – our heart in the centre of Umeå
Scandic Plaza is our official festival hotel. It also serves as the festival office and rooms for rehearsals, workshops and seminars. It also has one of our On Site stages and an open stage.
Participants in the choir festival can book rooms at a special price:
Single rooms from SEK 950 per room, including breakfast
Double rooms from SEK 1,050 per room, including breakfast
Scandic Syd – great location across the river
Scandic South has plenty of parking. It is just a short 15–20 minute walk to Scandic Hotel Plaza and the centre of Umeå.
Scandic Syd offers slightly cheaper accommodations:
Single rooms from SEK 800 per room, including breakfast
Double rooms from SEK 900 per room, including breakfast

When registering your choir through our booking system, we will send you a code for the two Scandic hotels. You can book rooms by email (plazaumea@scandichotels.com) or phone (+46 90 205 63 10). Please include the booking code when making reservations.
